Spray Tanning

Here at The Lil Nail Shoppe we use BreeZe Tinted DHA Solution for a great spray on tan. BreeZe Tinted DHA Solution is a superior tanning product developed using the latest technology designed to promote an initial color and subsequent DHA/Erythrulose highly natural tanning color.

The product contains a blend of Dihydroxyacetone and Erythrulose in an optimized ratio to maximize the synergistic activity of DHA and Erthrulose. The active materials are incorporated into a base designed to provide a good dry time with reduced drying of the skin.

The base includes Aloe Vera Gel together with Moisturizing ingredients to assist in preventing skin dry out and subsequent loss of tan due to dry loose skin after treatment. Also included is White Tea Complex which is a highly effective Anit-Oxidant.

Erthrulose is a natural sugar which when incorporated with DHA prolongs and produces a natural tan. Well documented Clinical Studies illustrate the tan extension, color improvement and the activity in reducing skin dry out.

Erthrulose in combination with DHA produces a deep, uniform and natural skin tan without undesired streaks. Thanks to its retardation effect, Erthrulose prolongs the tan and leaves the skin less dry.

DHA is the "browning action". When DHA is applied to the skin; a brown "tan" forms in about 2 to 3 hours. The tan continues to darken for approdimately 6 hours. The result can be a quite pleasing dark tan. The tan is absolutely water-resistant and diminishes only as the dead cells of the stratum corneum flake off - usually in 7-10 days. Some people expect a tan to provide UV protection. However, unlike the melanin pigments, the DHA-derived polymers do not absorb significant amounts of UV light, and therefore, cannot protect against UVB radiation. However, a DHA tan can be considered a UVA sunscreen to some extent.
